Shelby Weaver '07 Opens Makeway Boutique

Congratulations to Shelby Weaver '07 on the recent opening of Makeway, a female sneaker boutique in Toronto, located at Stackt Market on Bathurst Street near Front Street West. Makeway was founded in partnership with friend, Abby Albino, with whom she grew up playing basketball. A former Grammar Basketball player, Shelby is also Director of Player Development for the Toronto Raptors and spearheaded bringing the Larry O'Brien Trophy to Grammar following the Raptor's win of the NBA Championship in 2019.

Due to COVID-19, the boutique was closed shortly after their grand opening, so if you live in Toronto, be sure to visit when they reopen. In the meantime, their online shop is up and running - check it out for some great gift ideas for the females in your life.

Click here to read more about Makeway in a recent CBC article and be sure to follow them on Facebook and Instagram at @makewayco.
